Unbelievably Delicious Air Fryer Salmon

This air fryer salmon recipe is simply fantastic! It’s quick and easy, taking just 15 minutes from start to finish. The salmon turns out perfectly crispy and golden on the outside while remaining buttery and moist on the inside.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb salmon (preferably boneless, skinless)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 3/4 teaspoon coarse kosher salt (or 1/2 teaspoon table salt)
  • 2-3 teaspoons avocado or olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Salmon: If your salmon has skin, remove it. Dry the surface with paper towels and cut the salmon into 1 to 2-inch cubes.
  2. Spice Mix: In a small bowl, combine all the spices.
  3. Coat the Salmon: Toss the salmon cubes with the spice mix and oil. Using your hands can help mix everything thoroughly.
  4. Cook: Place the salmon in the air fryer, spreading the pieces out. Air fry at 400 degrees for 8 minutes. If you prefer your salmon a bit less done, aim for 6-7 minutes.

Once cooked, the salmon should flake easily when pressed with a fork, showcasing a juicy interior.

Tips:

  • Choosing Salmon: Opt for a thick, boneless, skinless piece to make cutting into cubes easier. These are available at most grocery stores.
  • Brown Sugar: Make sure the brown sugar isn’t clumpy. If it is, break it apart with your hands or a fork for better mixing.

This recipe is perfect for a quick dinner and pairs well with a simple side of vegetables or a fresh salad. Enjoy your delicious, effortlessly cooked salmon!
