Looking for a quick and delicious dinner? Try these Easy Fish Tacos! They’re made with tender, flaky fish that’s bursting with spicy flavors, all wrapped up in soft flour tortillas and topped with a zesty garlic cilantro lime slaw. Here’s how to make them:

Ingredients for Fish Tacos:

  • 3 tablespoons of melted butter
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 teaspoon of chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 10 – 15 oz. of cod or any other white fish, thawed
  • Tortillas and avocados for serving
  • Slaw (recipe in the notes below)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, lime juice, chili powder, garlic powder, and salt.
  3. Place the fish in a baking dish and pour the butter mixture over it.
  4. Bake the fish for 10-15 minutes until it’s cooked through and flaky.
  5. Break the fish into flakes and toss it in the extra sauce from the baking dish.

For the Slaw:

  • Blend together 1/4 cup of oil, 1/4 cup of water, 1/2 cup of chopped green onions, 1/2 cup of cilantro, 1-2 cloves of garlic, the juice of 2 limes, 1/2 cup of sour cream or Greek yogurt, and a pinch of salt.
  • Pour this sauce over some shredded cabbage to create a delicious slaw.
